This weekend hundreds of Lancaster County residents turned out for nine different Black Lives Matter actions all across Lancaster County, from Quarryville to Millersville to Lititz.

We protest for the same reasons that we vote and volunteer. We know that to win long overdue real and lasting systemic change, we have to get ourselves organized into a force that can apply and sustain pressure. Now in this critical moment in our nation’s history, it’s time for us to get clear on our next steps together—our path forward—from today through the November 3rd election, and beyond.

In the midst of one of the largest nationwide uprisings in US history, with the COVID-19 pandemic still unfolding, and with the November 3rd general election looming, what is our path forward together? What can we do with this vehicle we’ve built together—Lancaster Stands Up—to make the biggest and most strategic impact? What should we prioritize? What is our path forward to November and beyond?

Join our post-primary virtual mass meeting to dig into our plans for what comes next in our work together. Register here for the virtual meeting.

Over the past few years, so many of us have stepped up to get involved—to do our part. Together we have built a formidable grassroots organization that can mobilize hundreds, sometimes thousands, for protests and rallies, and also to knock doors, make phone calls, and make a big difference in elections.

Come November it will be four years since 300 Lancastrians gathered for an emergency community meeting and formed Lancaster Stands Up. We’re about to enter the homestretch of a four-year sprint.

And it’s up to us to win Pennsylvania.

We can’t meet together in-person at this time, but we can join together for a virtual mass meeting.

Thanks for everything you’re doing to demand justice and bring about the change we need to make America work for all of us. Hope to see you this Saturday!
